| Ancient Egyptian Shadow Games were played by kings for power.Such as the pharoh Yami.Shadow Games are five thoughsand years old.Who ever lost the game their mind would be banished straight into the shadow realm.Each section of the shadow realm has different consaconices.Lose your memories or have parts of your body disapear or more.The main people who played these games were Yami the Pharoh and his six high priest.Only higher up ancients knew how to play the shadow games.Such as Kaiba,Yami,Maric,Karime,Yami Bacura,Shadi and many more.Though when playing the games real live shadow monsters were used to play, which they had a mind of their own.The ancients summoned these creatures from Egyptian Shadow Tablets where the monster was traped within it.Because at one time they all got lose and the phaorh had to lock them away in the tablets since they were out of control.The only why you can release these creatures is with ancient Egyptian Shadow Powers and the use of a millenium item.Still some monsters weren't able to be controled even if summoned like the Egyptian Gods.Though who ever controled the Gods. The whole entire world would fear you because they were so powerful, mainly the Wing Dragon Of Ra.Though only ones who know of these games in modern times are the five thoughsand emortal ancient Egyptians that still live who are five thoughsand years old.The only reason Pegisis found out about them is by going to Egypt when he was young.Where he discovered two five thoughsand year old ancient egyptian stone tablets.That Shadi one of the pharohs high priest took him to see.One mentioning the Gods the other mentioning the battle between the pharoh and the priest Seto Kaiba that took place five thoughsand years ago.When he saw the tablets and found out about the games he fell in love with the shadow games.So he decided to create the game Duel Monsters.Where he put pictures of the monsters on cards and give them attack points and defence points.Which he introduced to the world which made him rich.After seeing the tablets that had the Gods on them he decided to make the God Cards.Even though he couln't read the ancient egyption scriputres since he wasn't rised on them.When he made the God Cards he disturbed the Gods by awakening them.The people that made the God Cards were destroyed by the Gods for disturbing them.But he some how survived.So after hearing what happened to his workers he feared the Gods because they threatened to destory him.So he gave them to Ishzu Ishtar one of the pharohs six priest and holder of the millenium neckless.So she hid them where no one would know of their existance.But her brother Maric discovered their location and took the cards.Though she maniged to retrieve one Obilisk The Tornimenter the third strongest Egyptian God.Since her younger brother had the other two.The three Gods are one of the main keys to the pharohs power besides the millenium items.Her brother wanted them to destory the pharoh and steal his powers in order to rule the world.But that back fires when Yami destroyes the evil within him.At the end of the battle city torniment.Where the Pharoh ends up with all three God Cards.Later on Yugi and the Pharoh go head to head for the Pharohs exixtance within the real world.Thats the last time the God Cards are used, Since Yami suranderes to Yugi Moto and returns to the land of the dead the God Cards and the millenium items all turn to dust. As if they never existed since they are part of his power. | ||||||
