Yami Is a five thoughsand year old ancient Egyptian Pharoh.The key to his powers are the three Egyptian Gods and the seven millenium items which his father created. It is written down on Maric Ishtars back.He is the holder of the millenium puzzle, which was given to him when he was just a boy.His faviorite monster is the Dark Magition and one of his most loyalist servents.During his rein the Dark Magition would only obey him.When he faced the Ancient Priest Seto Kaiba in a legendary shadow game. Right before he traped himself into the millenium puzzle in order to save Egypt. The Dark Magition was the last monster he used, which he used against the Priest Seto Kaiba's faviorite monster the Blue Eyes White Dragon.Since Seto turned trator on him after so many years of loyality, because Seto craved power over the Pharoh(Yami).So Yami destroyed him.But five thoughsand years later Seto was recarnated and didn't know of his Egyptian hertiage and had no shadow powers.Which Yami and the other ancients try to convince Seto of his Egyptian past.After the battle against the Priest Seto Kaiba, the evil Egyptian God Zork challenged him.Yami didn't have the strenght and power to defeat him.So the only way he knew how to save the world and his kingdom was to trap his soul into the millenium puzzle and have his servent Solimon smash it into peaces. The Peaces were put into a golden box with hyroglyphic writing and an eye on the front of it.And remained hidden in the pyrmid from outsiders.Five thoughsand years later the mullenium puzzle was discovered by Solimon Moto Yugs grandfather.Solimon didn't know what it was so he gave it to his grandson Yugi Moto the boy Yami ends up with.This is shown is season one Shadow Games, which only aired in Japan, but you can get it off the internet in Japenese laungage.Yugi put the peaces together which makes an upside down pyrmid.When Yugi puts the five thoughsand year old millenium puzzle back together he awakenes Yami from his five thoughsand years of slumber.Yugi doesn't find out about Yamis existance until season two.When Yami duels Kaiba to see who goes up against Pegusus.Before Yugi didn't know anything Yami did, when Yami was in control.And Yugis friends didn't know of his existance either until Yugi found out.Yami and Yugi main goal is to restore Yamis past five thoughsand year old memories that were lost five thoughsand years ago at the battle against Zork.Yami does all the dueling and is rearly defeated.Because in ancient times the Priest Seto Kaiba continuously challenged him to shadow games.Where he became practly undefeatable.But during that time they were frinds until Seto got greedy.During the series Tea king of have a crush on Yami.Yugi has a bad habit of setting Yami up on dates with Tea against his own will.He did it twice in season one at the amusement part and water park, and in season three.Later in season eight of Yugioh Yami and Yugi along with their friends go to Egypt.Yami gets sucked into a memory world and the gang has to go get him.By the way in that season the show what Kaiba was like back then how he acted and looked like.I have screen shots of Kaiba in the priest screen shots section if you want to see what he looked like and Yami along with Yamis other priest.Yugi and the others freak out though when they see Seto Kaiba though.After they escape the memory world.Yami containes all of his memories and his powers.And him and Yugi go head to head in a duel.Yugi is terablly loseing and crying in the process.Since Yamis deck containes the Egyptian God Cards.But his deck is put together to deafeat them.Everyone they know is their watching the duel.But in the end Yami surranderes and returns to the land of the dead.Which happenes in the last season of Yugioh.So its a totally disapointing ending that Yami ends up loseing and reuturning to the land of the dead.Which you can buy off of Ebay and all the other seasons and movie one. |
