| Fifty thousand people have logged onto a website devoted to the computer generated massacre of B*Witched. The site entitled B*Witched B*tches has attracted a massive audience, and opens with the all-girl Irish pop stars meeting the user with bloody skulls, rather than faces. They are then asked for 20 reasons to dislike the girls and then offered the chance to shoot them. The site even offers a choice of weapons, before the girls are placed in front of a virtual firing-line, before being killed. Speaking exclusively to dotmusic recently, B*Witched said they were well used to being 'stalked' via the internet. Keavy explained: 'Somebody in America has an 'Edele shrine' on the Internet with loads of pages on just Edele. We logged on when we went over to do a webchat.' Edele continued: 'He's American and has photos of me from everywhere... Edele in a red top, Edele at the airport, Edele in England, he's even got a photograph of me with him. He tells a story of how he first came to like me and why he put it together. It's mad." |
