YOU QUIZ B*WITCHED

Hi, I'm Lindsay from B*Witched. I caught up with dotmusic earlier today before the soundcheck for our Cardiff Arena concert. Thanks for sending in your questions there were too many to answer them all so I hope I have answered yours.

Lauren Wray: What is your fave Steps song? and who do you like out of Steps?
My favourite song is One For Sorrow and all of Steps are very very sweet they're all nice people, I couldn't pick one out!

Dave Hunter: Was it disappointing when Jesse Hold On didn't get to no.1?
No actually it wasn't really because we'd been away for quite a while and we were coming back with a new album and a new single and everything so we were happy with are chart position. We weren't disappointed at all.

Sally Jennings: Just recently I saw you in concert at the Newcastle Telewest Arena. I thought you were great. You said we were your best crowd ever, did you mean this or is that what you say to all the crowds you play to?
No we don't say it to all the crowds at all! Some crowds are louder than others, so you know the louder they are the better, so if they're really loud we'll say it to them.

Cri from Italy: Who is your choreographer? Is still Mark from Mytown or someone else? I'd like to know it 'cause yours dance routines drive me crazy. Come on girls! You are THE BEST!
Mark was my dance teacher ages ago when we were back in Dublin. My choreographer now is called Shanie.

Anthony Hamer-Hodges: What is the worst CD you have ever been given?
I wouldn't say worst but I did get a collection of classical music CD's which are probably beautiful but I have never actually listened to them! So I wouldn't say worst but never listened to CD's.

Dotmusic: Are there any CD's you want for Christmas?
I get them all for free but I do buy a lot of CD's if there's a good album out I'll buy it. I'll buy one or two a week.

Mhari Byrne: Who Is Jesse?
It's actually nobody in particular - we picked the name cause it can either be a boy or so it kind of applies to anyone. The song is about two people getting engaged actually. It's about the person who's asked the other person to marry them they're on their way to saying yes and they're going Jesse Hold On.

Hi, I'm Vivian from Sydney Australia. I love the new album and Jesse Hold On! And my question is, when will you guys be back to Australia and is it going to be a tour? (because we miss you all down here!)
We're going to Australia around February time so hang on in there. We're coming back!

Kev Davison: Do you still get nervous when going on stage (p.s. see you Friday)
I don't really but I have to say I did get nervous on the first concert of this tour because it was the first time we have ever done our own big show. The very first time I did it I was a bit nervous.

Erin: How much fan mail do you get a day? and how much of it do you respond to?
We get most of our fan mail to our fanclub. We do read a lot of it but we hardly have a chance to reply to everyone. It wouldn't really be fair if we replied to one or two and not to the rest. We don't really have that much time.

Lincoln: I'm loving B*Witched's new album! And I was ecstatic to hear you and Keavy take the lead vocals in the new songs. But my question is, when are we going to hear Sinead sing lead?
Sinead's singing on the b-side to I Shall Be There which is our next single. I Shall Be There is out on the 6th December and Sinead's b-side is called Don't Say Never.

Amanda: Do you keep a record of every mag you are in?
I actually DO keep a record of all the magazines we have been in - they have accumulated into a huge pile in my room which one day I swear I am gonna make a huge scrapbook out of it.

My name is Margaret Campbell, I'm 15 and I just LOVE your Music. I was just wondering if you have any advice for all the girls out there who want to start their own band?
Just be prepared . It's not easy, it's a lot of hard work being away from home, friends and family and stuff. Secondly, if you really really want to do it don't let anybody stop you. Don't let anyone tell you you can't and just keep trying.

Paul Usher: Will you be releasing a video of your absolutely fabulous UK Tour?
I think we will but I don't know when so I won't say. But yes.

Andrew Netherington: If you split up would any of you go the same way as the Spice Girls (i.e. go solo) or would you be interested in presenting tv shows or such like....
Well we haven't really thought about it as such so we've only been out a year and a half there's no sign of us splitting in the near future at all. When it does come nearer that time we'll think about it then.

Mark Candey: I would like to ask how you feel about the fact that your last single was your least successful to date (in the UK), and also how you feel about your album not doing as well as the first one. Are you worried that they are losing fans, or do you think you can bounce back?
I wouldn't say it's not doing as well - it's only been out a couple of weeks! The first album came out after two very successful singles and this album has come out after one single so it still has a very long life span. I wouldn't say it's not doing as well not yet.
