* Lindsay is now dating Gophers senior golfer Ben Greve

*Whalen is a volunteer coach with the Gophers. 

* Lindsay and the Connecticut Sun start their season this Saturday May 22nd against Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury.  The game starts at 2pm and it will be on ABC.  The game is sold out.

* Minnesota will not be making a trade with Connecticut for Lindsay. They wanted the 2 they drafted plus 2 starters.

* Lindsay was drafted #4 by the Connecticut Sun in the WNBA draft on Saturday.

* The Minnesota Lynx are trying to work on a deal to move high enough in the draft to guarantee a shot at Whalen.  The Lynx get the 7th pick and Whalen is predicted to go 5th.

* The women's Basketball Coaches Association and Eastern Kodak Company announced the 2004 NCAA Division 1 Kodak/WBCA All American Basketball Team. Named to the team were Lindsay Whalen and Janel McCarville. The Honor marked the second year Whalen has been named a Kodak All-American.

*The Gophers Defeated #1 Duke to go on to the Final Four for the first time in school history.  The game is on Sunday, April 4th at 8pm on ESPN.

* The Golden Gophers defeated Boston, 76-73 on Sunday.  They advance to the Elite 8 for the first time in school history!

*The Golden Gophers defeated Kansas St, 80-61 to advance to its second straight sweet 16.

*The Golden Gophers had 13,425 fans at the game againt Kansas St, which was a mideast regional record for a first or second round game and the sixth largest in NCAA tournament first or second round in history.
