There are four show group catagories: Kitten, Championship, Premiership,and Household pet. The kitten catagory consists of pedigreed kittens ages four to eight months. The championship catagory consists of pedigreed, registered, unaltered cats over eight months. The premiership catagory consists of pedigreed, registered, altered cats over eight months. The houshold pet catagory consists of altered, mixed breed cats.To compete cats have to be registered with a cat assosiation.
Although cat shows are competitions it is important not to get caught up in winning, but to enjoy the time you and your cat are speding together. |
