| The one bright spot for Lindsay was her belief that Nora had been killed in the train crash. Lindsay had also come to believe that Bo really was Matthew's father. Lindsay offered Asa a deal and said she would deliver Bo's son to him in exchange for Asa clearing Will's name. Lindsay then confessed to Bo that she had paid Jeff Barnes to switch the results of Matthew's paternity test. Bo forgave Lindsay, but insisted that he wasn't going to ask Sam to have Matthew re-tested. Lindsay then set out to change Bo's mind as she wanted to raise Matthew with Bo. | Nora had been badly injured in the train crash and was being treated at Cherryvale by Dr. Colin McIver. Nora drifted in and out of consciousness and was barely able to speak. One of the things Nora did manage to say was "Lindsay Rappaport," which shocked Colin. Colin then called Lindsay, his sister-in-law, and she was stunned to learn Nora was alive. Lindsay raced to Cherryvale and saw Nora with her own eyes and was furious at Nora for not staying dead. Nora, however, didn't see Lindsay at Cherryvale. He threatened Lilndsay saying he would turn over his 'proof' that she had been involved in the kidnapping from the beginning to the authorities if he was arrested. Lindsay broke into Colin's house and burned the evidence he was holding over her, and told him he was on his own.
