Wyka

The second most prominent religion in Lindonarlin is Wyka. This religion has been practiced since the time of the Tamer Clans. Though is has declined since the emergence of Encris, it is still the second greatest religion in the Realm.
There are several variations of Wyka. Some worship several deities while other worship the sun and the moon. It is a nature based religion and one of ceremonies and "magic". Followers either worship alone or in groups called circles. The religion strongly discourages harm of any kind without great need and believes that all actions come back tenfold.
The basic teachings of Wyka is this:
Touch the earth, sense the life. Feel the wind, hear it's song. Feel the water, enjoy the serene calm. Feel the warmth of fire, see the power.
Now sense the life within. Hear the music of your thoughts, breathing and pulse. Close your mind, enjoy the calm. Reach out within and around you and see the power.
Facts:
The people in the isolated towns of northern Lindonarlin are regarded as the most powerful of Wykans.
Skills of Wykans include: foretelling, dream interpreting, healing, spiritual communication and garden singing.
Wykans believe in rebirth or reincarnation of the spirit. They believe they are continuously reborn until they have learned the lessons of life and can move on spiritually.
