Not all provinces field football teams. It is mainly popular in Westfolde, Coryell, Ansing, Lancshire, and Talsande. The other provinces either focus on basketball such as Northmoore, Ralein and Nareth. Harafal and Arhan focus more on baseball. Not to say that the sports aren't played in other provinces other than where they are listed. In places such as Ansing and Coryell, football takes up a major part of the people's lives.
On Friday Nights the players are stars and their fans live their dreams through them. Whole towns have been known to close down for the night to go and watch the game. Tempion High in Ansing even has a stadium built to hold 25,000 spectators, rivaling some College Stadiums. Colleges usually field football teams as well as basketball and baseball where players can attend on sport scholarships.
There have been a few attempts at pro leagues but to the people... nothing
compares to High School football.
