The climate of Lindonarlin is fairly cold in the eastern regions and the mountains (grey). The majority of Lindonarlin was covered by alpine forests but early on the peoples of the Realm began to cut down the forests. This began a prosperous lumber trade and freed up land for farming. Today the remaining forests of Lindonarlin (dark green) are protected natural preserves set up by Queen Telrain. Telrain also replanted several tracts of trees for future use. The far east of Lindonarlin has only a small layer of soil before the tundra begins and so are used primarily for grazing. North, beyond the mountains it is warmer and the soil rich.
The majority of Lindonarlin's land is used for grazing and farming. The major manufacturing industries are located in the cities. Small areas throughout Lindonarlin produce wine and raise poultry. Oil and natural gas can be found throughout the Realm and offshore. Mining in the mountains yield valuable stores of anthracite, gems, gold and iron.
