The Law Enforcement System is one of the most respected fields of employment in Lindonarlin. Employees are some of the highest entry level and higher salaries in the Public Relations field. The Law Enforcement System is divided into three departments: Civil Guard, Corrections and Juvenile Corrections. The System focuses more on prevention than reaction and several programs are set up to deter people from crime and drug use. Violations of laws are not treated lightly and sentencing is not light but fair.
Civil Guard
City Officers are the frontline of the system. They enforce all laws within the jurisdiction of their city's limits.
Provincial Marshalls are charged with enforcing the laws in areas of the province not controlled by cities or in cities with no City Officer agency.
National Agents are the investigation team of the High Courts and charged with enforcing major violations such as large scale drug trafficking, stockpiling of arms, government corruptions, corporate and tax fraud.
Intellegence Division
The Intellegence Division deals with conspiracies, treason, foreign spy operations and terrorist threats. This Division is employed by the National Law Enforcement Agency but is used by the Defense Ministry in the field.
Department of Corrections
Houses the adult inmate population of the Realm. The Department has a maximum security facility in Fornost, Northmoore and two other facilities in Hamlin, Westfolde and Kylene, Ansing. There is a military prison operated by the military at Annuvalon, Harafal but is regulated by the Department.
Adult offenders are not fully removed from the workforce of the Realm. They do several projects to give back to the community such as construction projects, working in fields and enlisted into support units of the Armed Forces.
Department of Juvenile Corrections
Houses the inmate population under 18 and focuses on Rehabilitating and Resocializing youth from further law violations. The Department operates an orientation unit at Marl, Talsande and three long term facilities at Giddeon, Arhan; Corinth, Nareth; and Redfield, Ralein. There is also an Aggression and Suicidal facility for violent and disturbed offenders.
