The main language of Lindonarlin is the common Ingliz of Aurora with some unique words. Lindonarians speak Ordlis which is considered a higher form of Ingliz and translates to spoken word. Ordlis is further divided into the common language and Ancient Ordlis, spoken today only in ceremonies and among the educated. Ancient Ordlis can be seen in the names of the Monarchs who choose a second name for themselves upon ascension of the throne and in the name Lindonarlin itself, Royal Rose Land.

[tech] Some of these roots and words are from a language I've tried to find time for over the years. Some words are Latin with a letter added or taken away. I look to the Latin and Tolkein's Elven languages for inspiration because I find them interesting and the Elven especially beautiful. I hope one day to have a pretty good list of roots and proper use set up and maybe even convert Lindonarlin's three national songs into Ancient Ordlis. [tech]
