Objective:
The Aeronautics Space Travel and Research Agency of Lindonarlin will aspire to further the interests of mankind by venturing into Space and Beyond. Through research, experimentation, invention and the pure essence of dreams. Through this new Department Lindonarlin as well as the world will profit from the discoveries and technology. The rewards and promises of such an endeavor are endless.
Facilities:
Headquarters/Command Center - Victoria, Ansing
A brand new facility being constructed in the capital. Will conists of administrative offices, control rooms and data centers.
Research and Test Center - McLennan, Coryell
An old R&D facility of the Royal Military. Remodeled to be the design, testing and reseach center for ASTRAL. Training for missions will take place here.
Launch Center - Dolphin Point, Harafal
Located near the Dolphin Point naval base. Most of the land annexed from the military and will be the launching point for all missions. Will also be the place of fuel and equipment storage.

Artaq Missile Program
-develop a missile powerful enough to break Aurora's gravity

Data Systems Instruments
-to launch on an Artaq missile and collect data on launch, short orbit and re-entry

-probe to be launched on the Artaq V and to pass through the solar system of Aurora taking photographs and data readings of planets as it passes.

News:
Victoria - 21 March 2108 - Today is one that will go down in the history of Aurora. King Elyssan II has announced the formation of the Aeronautics Space Travel and Research Agency of Lindonarlin. A.S.T.R.A.L. as it is known for short will begin testing and experimenting to create a launch vehicle or missile that will have the power to break the gravitational pull of Aurora. Once this missile is developed, the Agency will begin to launch satellites into orbit for communication purposes.
The new Agency will be located in Victoria, Ansing and have a launching facility on Dolphin Point in Southern Harafal and Research and Test Facility in McLennan, Coryell. While the structuring and budgeting is still being worked out, Alec Ornae has been named Administrator for the Agency.
The King has promised the people this is for the betterment of science and all of Aurora, the Agency will be a joint operation with the military in it's first stages. When asked about this Ornae stated it was purely because of the military's knowledge of missiles and technology.
The yearly cost for the new Agency is expected to run several million crowns in it's first year due to research and construction of new facilities. Even after A.S.T.R.A.L. is out of it's infant stages it is expected the budget will not decrease due to salaries and maintenance. Ornae justified this by stating, "The rewards reaped for this will be great, the promises are endless. Imagine the discoveries awaiting us in this new frontier anywhere from discovering new minerals, medical advancements and even the possibility of life!"
