The Royal Air Corps of Lindonarlin provides the air superiority and support for the other armed forces of the Realm. The Air Corps is divided into Flights or Groups. The Air Corps provide for the defense of the Realm but her interest abroad. Though relatively new and small compared to the other armed brances, the Royal Air Corps is determined to prove it valor and build a reputation as great as the other forces.
The Royal Air Corps is headquartered at Fort Thalion in Coryell where the Air High Command meet to discuss strategy and planning. The High Command is made up of the Marshal of the Air, his General Staff made up of his Staff Marshals and Flight Marshals and his many advisors. The AHC also see that the Air Corps is equipped and supplied properly, that all operations go smoothly, the needs of the individual units are met and that any problems are addressed.
A Flight is made up of two wings each. A Wing is further divided into two squadrons of ten planes each. A Flight is also made up of Support Groups such as maintenance, ammunition, fueling crews, etc. Each Flight is self sufficient and flexible. During combat, Flights may exchange units or combine together in order to better meet the objectives of an operation.
The Air Corps maintains a number of bases across Lindonarlin: HQ at Thalion Air Base in Coryell, training facility at Mendacil Air Base in Talsande as well as Garyn Air Base in Ansing.
The Royal Air Corps currently has a pilot and air crew strength of 2,880 with a support crew of 3,500 and an additional 1,380 personnel on airbases and supply depots.
