The length of a sheet from back board to back board is 146' (44.501m). The width from side line to side line shall be 14'2" (4.318m).
A few other rules you should know before playing are:
1. A team shall not play under any circumstances with fewer than three players.
2. When a rink is one player short, the lead and second will each throw 3 stones.
3. Only skip and vice-skip may stand behind the tee line when opposing team is delivering a stone.
4. Players shall position themselves between hog lines and to extreme sides of the sheet when opposition is delivering.
5. In delivery, the handle shall be clearly released from the hand before the stone reaches the nearer hog line.
6. A stone that has not been released from player's hand and has not reached the nearer tee line may be returned to the hack and redelivered.
7. Behind the tee line, only one player from each team may sweep at any one time. This may be the skip or vice-skip of either team, or the lead or second of the delivering team.
8. When sweeping, the last motion is away from the path of the rock.
9. If a stationary stone is moved it is to be replaced as nearly as possible where the opposing skip considers it originally layed.
10. Burned Rock Rule- a burned rock is not to be stopped or removed when it is bruned by a player. The rock is to finish its course in play and is identified to the skips as a burned rock. It is not to be stopped and removed. When the rock comes to rest, the skips decide whether to remove the rock or not.
In addition to these rules, your club may have extra rules you must follow that are not
directly related to the game of curling. For example, members must sign in
guests on all occasions, which is a rule that a few curling clubs has adopted.
