The Art of
Wendy Lindsay Castle
Wendy Lindsay Castle was born in New Jersey and has drawn since she can first remember.  Her love for horses and inablilty to afford having one was her inspiration to draw horses.  Drawn horses did not eat and could be easily kept in her room.  Upon graduation from high school she attended Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee where she studied with Clement Allison, Vernon Brejcha and Michael Taylor.  While living in the Dallas, TX area she studied with Liz Richardson.

Mrs. Castle has had several one woman shows, was on
Good Morning Texas with Aardvark Studios, has had her art in the Dallas Morning News and has had art on exhibit at the State Fair of Texas in 1998, 1999 and 2000.  She recently had several pieces on display at the Oak Street Gallery in Hammond, La.

Please browse through her art and email her with any questions.  The artist is currently accepting commission work in colored pencil and graphite.    You may visit the Castle horses site through the link below to see her "children" and inspiration.
