Eating out has become a way of life in our busy world. Business lunches, fast food with the kids,
and birthday celebrations at your favourite Italian eatery are a reality for just about all of us. In fact,
most of us eat more than 25% of our meals (and use more than 33% of our POINTS�) away from home.
While there's no need to avoid eating out, it does require a little extra care and planning.
When eating out, it's especially important to practice portion control. Most restaurants serve portions that are 2-3 times bigger than what is considered normal. When you're served too much, share the extra with your dining companions, have it packed "togo" for another time, or leave it behind. And if you find yourself "picking" at your plate after you've eaten your share, ask your server to remove it - now.
