| Story Of A Citizen |
| My name is Julio Gonzales. I live in Mexico City and my life is very hectic, I am a farmer who farms many different vegtables, especially corn. Right now in Mexico we are having major problems with flooding, all my crops are totally flooded and I am going to lose all of them and have to start all over again in planting them and then waiting for the season to start again in order to have and crops to sell. I don't know what my family is going to do for food. My wife does not work either, she helps me with all of the farming and planting. My children are still in school and are trying their hardest not to think about everything going on here at home. One of my children is a senior in high school and his trying his hardest to graduate in the next month, he has many grades to pull up so he is elgible to graduate. I am a Roman Catholic and I attend church once a week and live by our rules. I try my hardest to make everyone happy. I don't know why this has to happen here. My last words to you is I need help! My crops are being ruined by the rain, I have no money and my children are doing horrible in school. I need my crops back as soon as possible and I need my son to graduate so I can attend college in the fall. Julio Gonzales |
