Stops along
the way:
I began working with KYOT on it's first full day on March 15, 1994.
Back then we were "Smooth Rhythms" featuring a lot of contemporary jazz
with a world beat twist. I started out in promotions, then to programming
assistant and On Air Personality as Coyote Dave. I am also now the Public
Service Director.
Hobbies/interests:
I love to play soft ball, golf, bicycling, swimming, working out and
traveling through out Arizona. Our state is amazing!
Favorite food(S):
Steak with potatoes and veggies, Pizza, Italian beef sandwiches, Pork
chops but no apple sauce. I also love to make baked salmon with angel
hair pasta/shrimp side with steamed veggies.....bon apetit'.
Favorite TV
show:
Mostly classic comedy such as All in the Family, Andy Griffith, Dick
Van Dyke and the Honeymooners. I love the Three Stooges! I have a poster
of them in my studio.
Favorite Jazz
artists: Pat
Metheny, Oscar Peterson, Jobim, Diana Krall, Tony Bennett, Craig Chaquico,
Rippingtons, Turning Point, George Benson and Grover.
Animal:
A fat cat named Tuna (he's pretty groovy).
Favorite places
in the world:
I have traveled to 30 plus states. I have also been to Rocky Point,
but sadly no world tour as of yet.
Favorite CD's:
Anything
Beatles, Greatful Dead, Rock of Ages (The Band), Steely Dan, mainstream/acoustic
jazz, and some 70's country rock.
Anything Else?
Doing radio is a life long dream, and I love the Coyote. Our listeners
are the greatest! I enjoy hanging out with you all. Also, I love my
family very much, though I don't see them enough because they are back
in Chicago.
