Vanessa Bell (1879 - 1961)
22 x 26” Acrylic on Canvas board
(SOLD)

Sister of Virginia Woolf. Both were members of the Bloomsbury Group, a circle of influential writers and artists in England. Vanessa and Virginia experienced disturbing childhoods in their outwardly proper but inwardly dysfunctional upper class home. Each went on to struggle with personal demons, their lives intertwined in complicated ways even as adults.
