Born and raised in Maryland, Linda Lynn knew at the age of 4 that she wanted to be a country singer. Now 21 years old she's already a seasoned performer who loves to put on a great show for all who watch.

Growing up Linda always had music around her and could always be found singing along. Linda's influences span the musical gamut. From Reba to Bon Jovi, Linda has gained a great deal of appreciation for music from the diverse styles she was subject to as a child.

Linda began perfoming in grade school as a member of both the choir, singing alto and soprano, and the orchestra playing the violin. Though she throughly enjoyed the experience of performing in a group it was the first time she performed as a soloist that made her realize that performing was something she was born to do.

"I can remember my first 'performance'. It was in the second grade when I got up in-front of my homeroom class at the end of the day and sang Reba's hit 'Fancy'. I was so amazed at how everyone stopped goofing off and just glued their eyes on me. It was like WOW! When I realized this was a way to get attention I was hooked. I knew performing was something I just had to do."

If attention was what she wanted then attention she got when in the 9th grade she entered her high school's talent competition. Tragedy struck the week of the competition though when a close friend of the family suddenly passed away. Like a true professional Linda thought "the show must go on" and the night of the show, Linda sang a beautiful ballad entitled "I Will Be There For You" and captured the audiences attention from the first note.

"The applause really shocked me. First because the audience was compiled of mostly teenagers from my school. A majority of which don't listen to country music. Secondly because what a lot of people didn't know was that earlier that same day we buried a friend of the family's who was like an uncle to me. When I was singing that song, I was singing it just for him, and nobody knew that but my close friends and my family that were there that night. That has probably been the hardest performance of my life."

Linda says of her budding career, "If I'm stuck playing festivals and fair the rest of my life, then everything will be just fine because at least I get to do something I've loved to do since I was a little kid. Put on a great show and see smiles on the faces of the people in the audience!"
