You were so tiny when I first found you 17 years ago at the Northampton County SPCA. You just fit in the palm of my hand, and I took you everywhere with me..and that was just the beginning.
Over the years, you were always by my side. When I needed someone, you comforted me. When I was sick, you laid in my bed with me.
You used to race up the mulberry tree and run sideways and act so silly. You loved stalking Keesha. You had so much energy. You brought me so much joy.
It was fun to watch tv with you each evening and you really loved to lick those pudding dishes! I never minded when you took over my pillow because that meant that you would sleep with me all through the night, making me feel safe.
My dear Pepper, I know you are now in a better place, but you are so terribly missed, and you shall never ever be forgotten!
