164. Michael BRIGHT was born on 24 Nov 1732 in PA. He died on 1 Aug 1814 in Reading, Berks Co., PA. He was buried in Evans Cem., Reading, PA. His body was moved from the Reformed Church Cementery to the Evans Cementery when the land was sold and the church moved. His father and first wife may be buried beneath him. He is buried with his second wife. The large, flat grave stone is covered with fine carving in German. Jean Dillion took us to see the grave at the first Brecht/Bright Reunion. It is just inside the main Gothic gate with its wooden bricks to muffle the sound of the horses hooves pulling the hearsts. Michael's father bought him lot 391 in Reading, PA in 1753, where he built a two story house. Michael was a saddler by trade and was elected as a Berk Co., PA commissioners. He held the officer for three years. In Dec 1774 he was appointed to the Co. Committee of Observation. He was married to Catherine STONER about 1753 in Berks Co., PA.

165. Catherine STONER died in 1764 in PA. She was born abt1733. Children were:

i. Jacob BRIGHT was born on 14 Jul 1754.
