244. John GRAY was born about 1720 in Wales. He died on 21 Sep 1783 in Fairfax Co, VA. In the Fairfax Co. VA Deed Book B, 1742 -1750, Page 113, John Gray signing for lannd on 20 June 1749. Witnesses William Burk and Sampson Darrell.

In the Fairfax Co., VA 1760 Resident Landowners who held Slaves, pg 48 John Gray leased 100 acres from Henry Fitzhugh. pg 58 Joseph, George and Drakeford Gray are in the Fairfax Co. Tax Tables. They are possibly tenants in 1760 put I can't find them on the map.

Recorded 26th March 1751. pp 143-145. He was married to Elizabeth DRAKEFORD in 1739.

245. Elizabeth DRAKEFORD was born in 1720 in Truro Parish, Prince William Co., VA. She moved to KY with her son, Drakefor. She died in Corn Creek, Trimble Co, KY. She was buried in Corn Creek Baptist Church Cemetary, Corn Creek, Trimble Co., KY. She was Baptist in Truro Parish, Prince William Co., VA. Elizabeth was a founding member of the Baptist church.
