The play is a dramatisation of the uncovering of Helen and Peter Kroger as Russian spies in 1961. Not os much a thriller as a study of friendship and betrayal, the play is rare in that jusT about every part is really worthwhile.

CAST:

Bob & Barbara Jackson - both in their forties (or possibly older)

Julie Jackson - their teenage daughter

Peter & Helen Kroger - similar ages to the Jacksons

Stewart - works for MI5, could be any age from forty upwards

Thelma & Sally - policewomen in their twenties
