"The actual facts are so simple. I love you. You love me. You love Otto. I love Otto. Otto loves you. Otto loves me. There now! Start to unravel from there." (Leo - Act One)
This is a play with a lot of dark corners: it is all about three people who can't help but love one another but are not sure in which order to do it. This confusion of affection ends with a threesome of bruised but unbowed lovers, and one outsider who can't understand the situation at all.
Add a few comic servants, some bruised Americans and you have a typical mix of real Cowardian humour and some real suffering.
