A pastiche and affectionate send-up of the genre of all those girls school stories and schoolgirl comics like School Friend, Girls Crystal and from authors like Angela Brazil and Enid Blyton. Daisy is a scholarship girl from an elementary school who is dertimined to make good and do well in the hallowed environs of the Grangewood School for Young Ladies, despite all the obstacles thrown in her way. By the end she has made friends, saved lives, won an important hockey match, discovered the treasure and found her own long lost father!!
