Written specially for this year's SDS at The Quay Panto, local author Doris Hilliard's Aladdin is fast, fun, as fresh as paint and as full of surprises as Christmas itself. All the old favourites are there (Oh yes, they are!) and the lamp is as magical as ever, but there are delicious new twists to the familiar family tale. And, as well as two sparkling genies, a beautiful princess, a handsome hero, a wickedly villainous villain, Widow Twanky and (specially for the kids) Pandee the panda, there is also the most exotic creature ever to grace the Quay stage, a .
