John Doringher came to the United States about 1820 with his sons, John and William, and his daughter-in-law, Catherine Long. Their exact dates of birth are not known.
The family name was changed to Dolinger(probably by a census taker who could not spell.)
William died 8 Apr 1870 and Catherine 18 Aug 1878. They are both buried at the Byars Cemetery.
