"The Church"

In Honor of the old Churches. Group

I was tired and seen a place ahead,
What should I see but a Church,
Come in my Child and stay,
May you warm your self from the cold,
As I looked up at the kind man,
I ask do many come this way,
No,for we are out of the way,
And far from the main road,
I felt a hug as I looked around,
Their was a man in white,
He told me do you know who I am,
Yes I said with a smile upon my face,
I then reached in my purse to get my Bible from it to read as I warm myself,
I feel a sleep,
As I slept I seen this man that gave me a hug say who am I,
I'm not sure,
Fear not you know me well,
For I'm from a book of all time,
We use it in court and Sunday School too,
I'm preached about from all over the world,
Some feel I don't hear them,
But I hear well they are spared from the hardships that may come their way,
So I listen well,
If in trouble remember me well,
Or fear I'll take away,
My Love is all you need,
I then heard a door open,
I woke up to see a dove,
And a bright shown,
I asked will you show me the way,
Yes, my child I will,
Follow me I will show you the way,
For we are far from the road,
As I got in the car I followed,
I soon seen the road,
I now call it the road of Love, and Faith, and Hope,
If we believe.
