"COUNTRY SNOWMAN"
Snowflakes falling to the ground,
Brings out country kids from miles around;
To build a snowman is their fare,
And have some fun, without a care.
First comes the building of one so tall,
We'll put him out by the garden wall;
Dressed in Dad's bibs and flannel shirt,
He looks really snazzy and ready to flirt.
Now add a hanky of crimson red,
Then put an old straw hat on his head;
Green rubber boots and mittens of brown,
Makes him look like he's ready to go into town.
Old Shep's at his feet, not sure what to do,
And Bessie the cow gives a curious moo;
A country snowman for all to see,
puts a smile on the face of you and me.
