SNOWFLAKES

Oh, what a lovely sight I see,
As snowflakes fall upon the trees.
Creating a blanket of crystal white,
To cover mother earth at night.

The fields are still and peaceful lie,
As snowflakes fall from darkened skies.
The frozen ponds have a haloed glow,
As moonlight glistens on pure white snow.

The beauty of winter seen at night,
Is like a fairyland delight.
God's winter portrait is so grand,
As snowflakes fall upon the land.
