I wonder why the sky's still blue.
Don't they know the whole world
stopped the minute I lost you?

on..day turns into night-
The clock keeps ticking away, as
if everythings all right.
I wonder why the sun still shines-
for that's not what I see-
All that's here are the cold, dark
shadows suffocating me.
I wonder why my heart still beat's-
Don't it know that you are gone?
Don't it know you have left forever-
that you're never coming home?
Why did you have to leave me - I ask
the Lord that every day-
In a tangled web of metal and pain-
the angels took you away.
I hope someday the drunk driver will
realize what he has done-
When he crashed into your car, he
took away my only son.
