Man From Nowhere
A lone man standing quiet - searching for someone in need- Always ready - always waiting to do a good deed. Searching all his life for acceptance- some one to care- He lived his life in misery - this man from nowhere.
He turned to drugs - neglected his family for a high- Laying in the shadows wishing he could die. Craving for a crumb of love - trying to please everyone- Hoping that his Dad would one day be proud of his son!
When anyone had a need - he was always there- To lend a helping hand - He'd show up out of no where. Acceptance he wanted so - maybe it would heal the pain- People would just use him - and throw him back again.
One day the sun was shining - he looked up in the sky- He realized he wanted to live as he kissed the drugs goodbye! He put things in order - his family and his life- The only one's he needed to please were his children and his wife.
He still helps those in need -but he does it out of love- Now he gets his acceptance from his Lord above. He's learned to smile now - He's learned to accept what he cannot change- He swept out all the clutter from his life- some things he rearranged.
Don't be surprised if sometimes you need a helping hand- Out of the blue you'll see him - from the shadows he will stand. He's never met a stranger - if you need him he's there- Then he glides back in the shadows- this man from no where!
