I am woman - reaching - searching
for the inner strength of life-
To get me thru the sad times - the
tragedies and strife.
So elusive it hides - - but
I know it must be somewhere-
I am Woman - I will find it - I will
live - I will care!
I will hold my head up high - find
the inner strength to survive-
I will cherish every day - knowing
its a privilege to be alive!
I will smile at my neighbor - stand
up for the red, white and blue-
I will find the inner strength to dry
my tears - make it through.
It comes so easily to some - they
have the desire to live-
That only determination and inner
strength can give.
I know I can soar high above the
clouds in my dreams-
But when I try it in reality it only
vanishes away it seems.
I will rise my head up high - let the
wind just carry me away-
Give me the inner strength to just
make it through another day!
I know I can do it - I know that it's
there in my heart-
I just have to find it - today will be
a good day to start.
I will hold my head up high- find the
