I Cry
I cry for the sick children who can't run or play- Who look out there windows to just another day. I cry for the lonely - they know who they are- And for that sad, lonely man crying in a bar. I cry for the homeless - sleeping out in the cold- And for the man who lost his wife- No one to hold. I cry for the Mother who's searching for her child- And for the disabled men and women who's forgotten how to smile. I cry for that lost soul who's missing someone tonite- And for the people on drugs - and thinking its allright. I cry for the hungry - the cold- and the sad- And for that little child who's just lost his dad. I cry for the people who are struggling with pain- For the hearts that are broken- and going insane. I cry for the babies who won't be born tonite- Because someone thought abortion was right. I cry for our country - the red , white and blue- For the soldiers who lost their lives for me and for you. I cry for the Sept. 11th horror that brought us to our knees- For the suffering and the hurting- May God hear our pleas.
