WHY ARE SO MANY PEOPLE UNHAPPY? By Linda Castillo People are looking at too many things in order to be happy, and they forget the most important thing: God. Sometimes people are raised in families without any religious background, but most of the time they know about God, they just regard Him as a second plan or what many call “Plan B”. They do not give Him the attention He deserves. For many people it is hard to comprehend why we should look for God when we can solve many of our own problems. But sometimes we cannot even when we think we can, and this is when God takes over. Since we live on this earth temporarily, we should not put our trust in things that are impermanent. We need friends, a good job, knowledge, relatives, etc., but those are not enough. Life is very unpredictable, and the things we try to acquire help, but only for a while. The sad thing is that we work so hard to acquire them! Many don’t know how short our life can be. I am proud and happy to say that I am a faithful believer of God, and if it were not for my faith in Him, my life would have taken another direction. I feel the peace of God, and it fulfills my life completely. There is nothing I lack. I need to tell you that I have never met a person who was disappointed by putting his or her trust in God.
