Summary - This site will be a business/portofolio page for my DJing business
Content - The site will contain prerecorded sets, images of gear, and different packages and their prices. I will try to use photos of my own setup however I may have to use some stock photos until I can build my portfolio.
Competition - Silver Tie Sounds. I like the layout of their webpage, it's clean and simple. One thing I think they could improve on would be the photos of their DJ's and setups. Festival Sounds. This website is really well done, it showcases videos of their events as soon as you open the page and offers a large variety of photos. S.U.M.O.. This website is very simple, altough it contains links to most information one might need, it looks outdated and boring.
Purpose - Users should focus on my site to learn about my setup and personality, as well as make an informed decision on whether or not they want to hire me. A site should be built for this because it is an accessible way for potential clients to learn about me.
Desired Results - I would like users to visit my site and consider me as an option when looking to hire DJ for a small event. I would like the user to be able to see what I can provide and at which rate I can provide it at.
Target Audience - My target audience will likely be males or couples 20-30 years old. I'm looking to provide a low cost DJ offering to the market. I think this will result in an audience of those looking for someone to DJ a small event or wedding. I will likely stay local so I would expect the majority of my audience to be located in Utah or Nevada.
