It has been a successful year for Nu Rho.  Seventeen undergraduate students from Nebraska Wesleyan University and Union College and ten graduated students from Nebraska Wesleyan University were inducted.  It is exciting to build our membership.

Virginia Hess, president, and Maurine Shambarger, president-elect, attended the Biennial Convention in Indianapolis in November.  Everyone should experience the opportunity to meet with nursing colleagues from all over the globe.  It is inspirational and humbling to hear and see the difference nurses are making world wide in the delivery of health care, nursing education, projecting the essence of nursing as a profession into the public domain, and supporting nursing research.

The executive board verified the following goals for the 2002-2003 year on July 9, 2002:
       - Increase member involvement.
       - Maintain active Nu Rho website with calendar of events related to
         nursing.
       - Continue to sponsor nursing leadership, research, and
         scholarship activities with community sponsors.
       - Maintain fiscal responsibility.

As you can see, Sigma Theta Tau Nu Rho-at-Large Chapter is an active chapter due to the support of all members.  Your support as members is greatly appreciated and necessary to kepp the chapter alive.
