My rig is pretty simple. The signal first goes into a BOSS TU2 Cromatic Tuner via a Monster Performance
500 cable. Next into a BOSS CS3 Compressor/Sustainor. This fattens up the signal when I need it.
Then into a BOSS DS1 Distortion pedal for that 'heavy' country sound. From there through
a Morley Classic Volume Pedal into my amp, A Yamaha T100C circa 1990.
The T100C, For those of you who are not familiar, was designed by
Michael Soldano for Yamaha. The overdrive channel is very similar to a Soldano SLO 100. The
amp is currently tubed with Sovtek 5881s. Not real happy with the tone right now, I'll probably go back
to the Chinese 6L6GCs that were in the amp initially.
In the effect loop of the T100C is an ART SGX 2000. This is used basically for reverb, delay and
chorus when I need it. It is controlled by a Digitech Control 8 Midi Controler. A Yamaha FS3 Footswitch
rounds out the rig. Pretty simple stuff.
