State Youth Conference
Are you ready for the time of your life?! The South Dakota State 4-H Council/Ambassadors have been working overtime to put on this year's Conference entitled: "Mystery in 2003"
It will be held on the beautiful campus of South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota.
From the time you arrive on Tuesday, June 3rd until Friday, June 6th your days and nights will be packed full of information and excitement you will want to stay another week and do it all over again!
There will be a great mystery the night you arrive at Conference. The C/A's will need your expertise in investigating a crime that has hit close to everyone. Do you want to know what the mystery is? Well, you will have to wait until Tuesday night. After opening ceremonies, get encouraged, get motivated, and get inspired by the awesome keynote speaker!
Everyone will have the opportunity to attend awesome workshops and Tracks the C/A's have lined up for you this year. You can do anything from learning how the court system works to swimming to karate and much much more!
By the third day, you may find yourself wanting to get away from campus. Well, here's your chance. Come tour your choice of 3M, Hilltop Dairy, SDSU campus, Midwest Seed, and Law Enforcement. Get involved with the community by doing community service. Help us to build a house, stock shelves, clean up the park, or help at a local day care!
Make sure you bring your dancin' shoes, because we will be movin' and groovin' to the music every night! Also have the chance to clear those pipes on the microphone and do some Karoke at the dance. Have fun while getting down with your old and new friends!
Get all dressed up and watch fellow 4-Hers be recognized for accomplishments while you wine and dine SDSU style in the Volstrof Ballroom. The new C/A's will also be revealed along with a graduation ceremony for graduating members of 4-H.
and meet new ones!
