Female Gear With a Biker's Edge
I thought I would share this picture with you. I became interested in motorcycles and bought one last year.  Here is a picture of "Me and my shadow."  It's a  2000 Honda Shadow 600

Women On Wheels
I enjoy riding my Honda Shadow  and seeing the different types of motorcycles. I have a 2005 Honda 750 Aero now.
I try to ride somewhere at least a couple of times a week.  It's alot of fun to feel the wind rushing in your hair and be out on the open road!

Be sure to check out some of my favorite sites, too.  I joined a couple of groups-Women on Wheels (national) and Lovely Lady Riders (local, based in Plainfield).  The picture below is a bunch of women I met and we went to Nashville, Indiana.  Yep, they all ride and we all went together.
Myths: Not all female motorcyclists are gay, Not all are tough people
This is me with the chaps and the sunglasses!
ABATE (American Biker's Aimed Towards Education) is a motorcycle driving class that teaches skill and is helpful when you get your MC license from the BMV. There are great instructors and the classes are alot of fun!  It's a good chance to learn, have fun and meet new friends
Check out their website at

June 5th 2005:  This year, for the first time, I participated in the 12th annual Miracle Ride for Riley Childrens Hospital in Indianapolis. I was only one of 4000 other motorcyclists who rode for this event. In 2004, there were 24 miles of motorcycles from the first one to the last one.  It was a great event and I hope to do it again next year.  Not to mention, that we also rode 1 lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. If you'd like to sponsor me, please contact me, or you can sponsor the event and have your business on the back of the T-shirts!
Special thanks to Carol (Fink) Pentecost, her husband Dennis and son Joe for coming out and supporting us in this event.  Carol did an excellent job with photography/videography of the event and I sincerely appreciate her efforts and support.
