BLOUNT, Isaac Moab
Isaac was born abt 1783 in North Carolina to Reading Blount. He married Anna White, and they had 12 children: Martha A., Drusilla, Moab, Mary, Sarah, Amanda Caroline, Henry, Elizabeth, Reading, Green W., Isaac, and Rebecca.

Isaac and his family can be found in 1810, 1830, 1840, and 1850 Hancock County, Georgia Federal Census records. In 1811, at the estate sale of Drury Dunn, Isaac bought a set of spoons. His occupation in 1840 was in agriculture. In 1850, Isaac and his family was living next door to his son, Reading, and family.



BLOUNT, Jacob
Jacob was born about 1728 in Beaufort, Corteret County, North Carolina to Thomas and Ann Reading Blount. He married Barbara Gray about 1748 in Bertie, North Carolina, and they had seven children: Reading, Ann Gray, Barbara, Louisa, William, Thomas, and Jacob.

Jacob can be found in the 1762 and 1763 tax lists for Pitt County, North Carolina.

Jacob died 17 August 1789 in Blount Hill, Pitt County, North Carolina. he was buried a day later in Bertie, North Carolina.

Martha was born about 1824 in Hancock County, Georgia to Moab and Anna Blount. She married Thomas B. Logue 11 August 1846 in Hancock County, Georgia, and they had at least two children: Thomas Blount and Linda A.

BLOUNT, Reading
Reading was born 22 February 1757 in Blount Hill, Pitt County, North Carolina to Jacob and Barbara Gray Blount. He married about 1776 in North Carolina and had at least three children: Isaac Moab, Mary, and Sophia.

Reading died about 1807.
