This is another drawing influenced by my friend Greg, who is in love with Rei Ayanami from the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. Rei is not a true human, she is a clone and can be cloned over a thousand times. Her eva unit is blue. I drew this Eva unit's face by looking at a picture of an Eva (not hers, a purple one), zooming in to the face, and then drawing it clearly, coloring it the colors of her Eva. Then I drew Rei on another layer (i looked at a Rei action Figure and drew her in the same position all on my own) and duplicated her, flipping one horizontally. I then drew the Evangelion logo using three sperate layers to complete it, merged the visible layers and saved it as a JPEG. This was my result; you'll never see that Evangelion Picture anywhere because I created it. I made this on October 29, 2004. |
