Check in
Passengers are advised to check in 2 hours before flight departure. Upon arrival to the airport, you can check the Flight Infomation screens for your airline's check-in row. Please note that all baggages will be screened by the Airport Police before check-in. Adding to our security measures, only passengers are allowed to enter the check-in areas. Linapore international airports also offer early check-in services for passengers taking our local carriers.
Baggages
The weight limit for your baggage to be checked in is subjected to the airline you are taking. For economy class passengers, most airlines allow up to a maximum of 20 kg to be checked in. There will be an excess baggage charge if the weight limit does not meet the criteria. Please check with your airline for more information. Each passenger is allowed one piece of hand-carry baggage to board the plane. Passengers are advised to remove all dangerous items from their cabin baggage before boarding the plane.
Tax Refunds
For visitors to Linapore, you are entitled to claim back the Goods and Service Tax (GST) paid on your purchase when you return home. The GST rate in Linapore is 7 %. The GST refund operators can be found in all our international airports.
Immigration of Linapore (IOL)
Visitors to Linapore need to fill in the immigration form which is available once you land in our airports. The immigration form needs to be produced at our immigration counters. For Linaporeans or Permanent Resident of Linapore (PRL), you can use the express lane to clear immigration at all our airports. Work Permit Holder (WPH) will need to show their working license card to use the express lane.
Linapore Airport Health Services (LAHS)
Passengers arriving from countries infected with diseases need to go for a health screening in our airports before they clear immigration. The entire health screening procedure lasts for about an hour and costs L$78 (US$60) per person.
Baggages
After clearing immigration, passengers can collect their baggages at Baggage Claim Belt. You can refer to the Flight Information screens for allocation of your Baggage Claim Belt. For passengers who cannot find their baggages or would like to report on damaged baggage, you can go to the 'Lost and Found' counters for assistance.
Custom Clearance
Passengers should use the Green Channel if you do not have controlled or prohibited items to declare. However, for those who have items to declare or in doubt, please use the Red Channel.
Transfer Counters
Transit passengers are required to check out the procedure at our transfer counters for your connecting flight. You must proceed to the departure gate 30 minutes before the departure time. Meanwhile waiting for your next departure flight, you can spend some time enjoying the facilities in our airports. However, you are not allowed to enter Linapore.
