THE TASK


Your first mission is to collect as much data as you can about the planet you are about to visit.  As a team, you and your shuttle crew will be responsible for collecting scientific data about your destination planet. Report all findings to mission control before blast-off!

Time: 5-4 days left before blast off.

a) Find out the planet you will be exploring.
b) Give your mission a name.
c) Design a shoulder badge for you mission.
d) On a sheet of paper, design the shuttle you and your crew mates will be travelling in.



Time: 3-1 days left before blast off.

Data collection.
You and your shuttle crew will need to collect the following information about your planet, and submit this information to mission control.

BLAST OFF!


Star Date: Day 1 of Mission.

Once you arrive at your destination, send Mission Control your observations by postcard.

Press conference:

On the day of your crew and shuttle return, you are expected to give a press conference.  At your conference, tell the press about your mission: what planet you explored, how you got there, how long it took to get there, and what our observations are).
