| Disclaimer: I don't won Sorcerer Hunters...at least not until I take over the universe. Notes: To Put this in a time line, I'd say it takes place right at the begining of volume eight of the manga. |

| Birds sang happily in the high trees as the sun filtered down through the wide branches to illuminate the clearing. In the midst of the forest stood a large white house, crisp and newly built. On the right side, two figures occupied the yard, shouting and disrupting the general serenity of the day. "Look at me!" the first yelled, flexing his bronzed muscles and striking a well practiced pose. "Look at me!" the second echoed. She was shorter and definately more feminine, but looked remarkably like the first one. Her pose, however, did not. Stepping too far forward, her arms flailing, she fell gracelessly to the ground. "Eclair! You have to try harder." Though his tone was rough, he offered a hand and pulled her to her feet. "Remember, this is a matter of Mocha honor." "Right," she nodded determinedly. "Look at me!" "LOOK AT ME!" If one looked beyond the flexing duo, there was a wide bay window that let light into the pristine breakfast nook. There, at a small white table, sat a dark haired mage. A large magic anthology say open in front of him, but its pages had long ago lost intrest for him. His eyes rested instead on the commotion outside and his mind even further away. A hand on his thin shoulder made him start. "Please tell me that you're staring at Eclair," a familar voice whined from beside him. "Niisan, I was not sta--" "Oh please," the older boy scoffed. "I've been here for nearly five minutes and I don't think you've blinked once." "I was just...thinking." "Jealous?" he asked with a smile, raising an eyebrow as a pink flush spread across Marron's face. "Of course not!" He sighed, trying to regain his lost composure. "I am glad that he is finally happy." Now his voice was low as he looked up into his brother's eyes. A deep regret still haunted their depths. Standing, the mage stared into those sullen pools, thinking, debating. Suddenly, he embraced the other, pulling him close and laying his head on the green-clad shoulder. His golden eyes closed, feeling his brother's pain and remembering all that had occured. "Niisan," he spoke in a whisper full of worry and unshed tears. "Everything is going to be all right, isn't it?" Carrot smiled lightly, the dark look abating as he returned the embrace. "Yeah, everything's gonna be fine." ~TBC?~ To be honest, I have no idea where this is going {laughs nervously}. This scene kind of popped into my head and I was like "get outta my head" and it was like "no," so I was like "I'm not writting you without a plot," and it was like "NOW," and I was all "hell no," but then it took Marron-chan hostage...so...I...IT'S NOT MY FAULT!!! Notes from Subaru-san: The Miko is obviously in need of help, and since none of you are licensed psychiatrists, maybe you can just give her a little direction for this thing. Arigato Mina-san!
