The Miko (long before she was actually a Miko) moves to a new school barely two weeks before highschool starts. She has no friends and even half her family is mad at her. She has moved from a small rural farm community into the metro area that is Cary NC. Worst of all, she is a quiet and shy individual who is not likely to speak to anyone unless spoken to. She spends the first week quite alone, but one day at lunch while sitting by herself, reading a book, someone speaks to her.
Lin-san invites the Miko to come and sit with her and her two friends. Not wanting to intrude, and honestly afraid of conversation, the Miko declines. Quite determined and kind, Lin-san then decides to takes the active position and sits with the Miko. She introduces her friends and they talk.
Soon the Miko and Lin-san discovers they have several things in common and become friends.
A year and a half later, they discover this wonderful thing called anime.
Six months later the Miko discovers her destiny as Omni-potent Ruler of the Universe. Lin-san is instantly made third in command. To this day they are best friends, and the Miko is eternally grateful.

Even being plauged with an annoying Miko as her friend, Lin-san has found time to have a life as well. She attends college and is going to "do something with computers." She also has other, more normal, friends. These people are also interesting and have had a tiny bit of contact with the Miko, but Lin-san has limited it to a point where they will not be scared away. However, Lin-san's boyfriend has offended Her Supreme Omni-potence and will be disposed of at her convinience.
To take a moment to explain the page name:
Lin-san has written just a few fanfics which can be found hosted at the enemy site (fanfiction.net), but she refuses to write more. Her favorite excuse is "You know I have the creativity of a rock." This is not true, but who is the Miko to smash one's dillusions?
Lin-san claims several bishounen, but her first and best is undoubtedly Xellos from Slayers. No one should dare to touch this bishie! Lin-san knows all about the mysterious priest and even has the outfit and staff...hehe...as the Miko likes to say, "Everyone wants Xel's big stick!"
Among other talents, Lin-san kicks ass at DDR. Whether doing the drunken sailor dance or hopping around like mad, she beats the Miko every time.
Other random information:
Lin-san accepts yaoi, but does not encourage it. This leads to interesting moments of conversation with the Miko and friends.
Lin-san will try to eat anything, even parsley.
Lin-san believes in the light bulb theory. "When we die, that's it, we wink out like a light bulb."
Lin-san is a great friend, and the Miko is lucky to have her.
