| A loveable, good-natured but stubborn dog who loves being in the limelight. He was found by Anna on March 12 2003 in our flat. Since then, he's become a special part of our household. |

| Edde isn't any male mongrel. He's a basenji - an ancient Egyptian dog.. |
| The only person he's afraid of in our home is our father. He knows better than to nibble at my dad's ankles. |
| Edde loves to jump in the lifts till our neighbours are weary of entering the lifts with him around. |
| He can sit, lie, crawl, shake paws, and jump, especially if you have food. |
| He becomes beserk everytime we unleash him at home - lives up to his breed! |

| Edde was chained up in our home since the first day he walked in. Some might say it's cruel but he doesn't mind at all. In fact, he does seem more accustomed to being chained than freed. He used to enjoy eating cat shit and tissue papers. But that changed when we purchased 2 canes. Edde's a very stubborn dog and knows how to react with different people. He often dreams when he sleeps. Once, I even witnessed him barking softly when he slept. Mum said he must have been dreaming about " running free at our void deck". He has a raggedy old t-shirt of my sister's& a STUFFED COW that he likes to wrangle with his teeth. Before he sleeps, Edde never fails to whine and remind us of his nightly ice-cube treat before he dozes off....Yes he's one pampered dog!!!! |

| - the bitches in my block, especially the white "fluff" downstairs and 'Silky'. - chewing his leash -biting our ankles (except dad's) when we try to leave home - long naps & whining - unlike other dogs who stick their heads outside the car window, Edde likes sitting inside with the air-con blowing at his tongue. |
