Hiya. Well I'm back and with Chapter 4 of this set of Crossover between Digimon 02 and Yu-Gi-Oh! Well, enough said, here's chapter four. Writer's block has let up enough for me to write at least some of this chapter.

Angel of Light

Chapter 4

"KARI!" came a shout. One that Hikari recognized all too well. She turned and was pounced upon by Gatomon, Hikari was, at first, speechless. for the one she most missed was here and in her arms.

"Ga--Gatomon?" Hikari stammared, eyes wide in shock.

"Yep! It's me, Kari. I'm so glad to see you!"

"Same here Gatomon but...?"

"...How'd I get here, right?" Gatomon finished Hikari's question. Hikari nodded.

"It was Gennai," the cat digimon responded.

"KARI!!!" this time multiple voices came to her ears. Hikari followed the shouts moving her head in that direction. Shocked again at another familiar face, she ran over to it, still holding Gatomon in her arms as if she was never going to let go."

"TAI!" she yelled running toward her brother happily. The cat digimon still in her arms and the Millennium Puzzle beating in time to running, against her chest.

"Kari, I've been worried about you," Tai declared enfolding his little sister in his arms in a hug. The other digidestined were silent for a while, at brother and sister's reunion.

Coming out of the hug, it was TK who noticed the dueling disk system about Kari's wrist and the Puzzle about her neck.

"Hey Kari, what are those things?" he asked pointing at the two objects in question.

Hikari, glancing first at the duel disk then to the Puzzle before answering,

"This is my duel disk and a Puzzle."

"Duel Disk?" Tai asked. Hikari nods in response.

"This world has these playing cards that they battle others, dueling," she began.

"Are you involved in this dueling?" Cody had asked staring at the duel disk intently and with interest.

Hikari nodded.

"Yes I am. Why?"

"Is there something going on?" Yolei asked.

"I think so. Something that needs me here," Hikari answered.

"HEY! YOU! Let's battle!" a male voice from behind them shouted.

The group of digidestined turned at that shout. It was a young boy who had done the shouting.

"Who are you?" Hikari asked him.

The boy, stopping before the group practically glared at her, but he does answer,

"I'm Satori and I challenge you to a duel!"

Tai, Gatomon and the rest of the digidestined were watching Hikari at that moment and was able to witness the change.

She was the same Hikari and now she was different. There was a sort of grown up look to her features, like she had seen much of the world than her normal thirteen years of life. Her eyes now were showing even more maturity in their depths.

"Fine then. Let's battle," Yami Hikari answered. The wrist with the duel disk in front of her body was ready. The boy, Satoria nodded grimly, doing the same facing off against Yami Hikari.

The boy Satori and Yami Hikari began the duel. {And here I won't mention that duel since it would take a bit}

MUCH LATER

Satori stumped away having lost the duel, grumbling at his lost. Tai and the others look at Hikari who had resumed her normal self.

"How'd you do that?"

Hikari shrugged at that. She knew that the spirit of the Millennium Puzzle tended to take over whenever she, Hikari was challenged to a duel and she didn't really mind that. Since the two had gotten together Hikari had just taken things as faith and also there was a bond growing between the two much like the one she shared with Gatomon only more intimate.

"My guess is that Kari has somehow become acclimated to the nuances of this world and has adapted. Quickly I might add too," Izzy had explained watching Hikari closely to see her reactions.

"Actually it has been a few days since my arrival," she revealed to them.

"A few days?!" they all said. Hikari nodded.

"Yes. I've been here at least six days. Plenty enough time to get used to this world," she said.

"But why were you sent here Kari?" Sora asked.

"And why is it that only Gatomon could find you?" Matt spoke in question. Sora glared at him for asking the same question she was about to.

"I don't really understand it all. But according to Odion, evil has come and will destroy worlds if I don't stop it," Hikari answered.

"Then you're going to need our help," Yolei spoke up.

"Thank you," Hikari said. "I'd like to introduce you to Odion. He took me in when I dropped in on him that first day."

"That's great Kari. Lead the way," Tai said. Hikari nodded and made her way to the shop where Odion was living.

Well, I guess I'll stop here. In chapter 5 the digidestined meets Odion for the first time and something bad's going to happen. But I don't know what it is. Writer's Block has returned with a vengeance. Toodles all!
